The second playoff of the 2014 tournament season has a number of milestones: it is the first playoff to be held outside the USA, and it is the first to feature a team from continental Europe.

After the inaugural season of WFTDA divisions, teams have now had a full year to work the calculator and find their groove among the rankings. For some, it ended up with them falling out of playoff contention while for others it was a matter of making great strides to the top, even making the jump to Division 1.

ECDX is just around the corner. With 22 sanctioned bouts across three days, it’s going to go a long way to sorting out the few remaining question marks over the WFTDA playoff picture and answering a few other important questions too.

Weekend Preview & Streaming Highlights: May 16-18

Spring Roll is upon us! This weekend 22 WFTDA and MRDA teams descend on Fort Wayne, IN. There will be 34 bouts across three days, starting at 1700 EDT on Friday–all of which will be streamed live and for free here on DNN, produced by local volunteers.

Teams from all over the world are flocking to Eugene, Oregon this weekend to take part in the third annual Big O tournament. Hosted by WFTDA #104 Emerald City, the three-day event has grown to attract high level play,and this year, four teams from the WFTDA top 20 are taking part.
