There are a little over two weeks left this season and the WFTDA league table is taking shape.

DES MOINES, IA–The number two-seeded Brewcity came into the fifth place game looking to salvage some pride, while nine-seeded Dallas came in having already beaten their initial seeding, and looking to boost their ranking even further and make a case for Division 1 inclusion next year. In a game of multiple lead changes it looked like it could be anybody’s for almost the entire bout–but a decent run in the last few minutes took the game just out of Brewcity’s reach and Dallas triumphed 237-207.

D2DM: Brewcity Downs Duke City, 262-189

DES MOINES, IA–This last bout of Saturday night appeared closely matched through the first half, with the lead barely reaching double digits–but a couple of big power jams for Brewcity in the second period secured them the win, and a meeting with Dallas tomorrow for 5th place at the first WFTDA Division 2 playoffs.

Arch Rival Taps Brewcity, 335-133

BALLWIN, MO–For some, a 202-point victory may not seem vengeful, but for Arch Rival (DNN #18/11 WFTDA), its 335-133 victory over Brewcity (44 WFTDA) Saturday in front of 500 at Midwest Hockey clearly fit the definition .
