DULUTH, MN–Detroit’s final game went about the same as the previous two: shut out jammers, powerful blockers, and big point spreads. Sin City’s strong pack game got disrupted and they went for more big hits. They continued to use star passes to try and stop the point scoring but they couldn’t post any big jams to ever get close to Detroit, who finished 318-106 winners.

DULUTH, MN–From the first whistle to the last, Big Easy just could not handle Detroit. There was a brief rally for Big Easy once the game was won by Detroit, and the final score of 292-115 did not quite reflect quite the stranglehold that Detroit had on the game whilever they had a jammer on the track.

DULUTH, MN–Detroit’s cohesive strategies and experienced jammer bench gave them a marked advantage over the freshman Brandywine team. The Belligerents struggled to get points without a power jam advantage and were worn down in the first half. While Brandywine’s short roster works against them in a tournament setting and likely accounts for some of the margin, Detroit’s gameplay is above what’s been on show thus far in Duluth, suggesting that they may well be underranked. Heavy penalties plagued all but one of Brandywine’s skaters, and Detroit’s confident game carried them to a convincing 336-82 win.
