After the quiet of Independence Day weekend, things are back into full swing this weekend as teams across WFTDA start their playoff preparations in earnest–and, perversely, play the first bouts that count towards 2015 playoff qualification.

WFTDA has released its April rankings, which have fallen in favor of our friends across the pond, and have sent many other teams into a tailspin. While none of the games played over the last weekend at the likes of The Big O are part of the current rankings, these were the rankings that last weekend’s games were calculated with, so they will have a bearing on the rankings outcomes of the games just played.

GUILDFORD, UK–At the first Anarchy in the UK tournament , London went 0-3 on their way to the wooden spoon–but ultimately proved the point they deserved an invitation to their first regional tournament. This time they came into their last game with the tournament and potential top seeding at playoffs on the line.
