ST. LOUIS, MO — The WFTDA North Central playoff perimeter potentially changed on Saturday night following a lower-ranked squad’s rumble aided by a higher-ranked squad’s stumble. A 123-point second half barrage helped NC #10 Arch Rival (unofficially ranked #22 in the nation by DNN) upend NC #7 North Star 181-40 Saturday night at Midwest Sport Hockey.

Outfit Stumps North Star In Second Half

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The North Star Supernovas hosted the Chicago Outfit Syndicate on April 30, 2011 at their league home, the Minneapolis Convention Center. Looking back at two hard-fought prior wins against the Outfit, the Supernovas expected no less of a challenge from this bout, although major North Star personnel shifts since their last meeting created a need for the Supernovas to adapt to meet the high-energy skating of their opponents.

ST. PAUL, MN — Joining the Twin Cities Terrors for a double-header at the Terrors’ home stomping ground in St. Paul, Minneapolis’ North Star Supernovas came from behind to beat the Tucson Saddletramps 105 – 96 in WFTDA-sanctioned action on Friday, February 4.
